Hal-Tur Hotel - Pamukkale

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The location is great for the White Terraces.

The breakfast was very poor, the rooms are very old, tired, the bathrooms are tiny and dirty and the hairdryers have been changed so they can only blow cold air..

We really loved our stay at the Hal-Tur Hotel as part of our visit from the UK to Turkey in March/April. Our standard double room was comfortable and clean with attention to details, and free Wi-Fi. The sound-proofing ensured a quiet night, in spite of being situated on the main road through the village. It is a wonderful family run Hotel with a lovely aspect overlooking the cliffs of Pamukkale from our balcony. All the staff went out of their way to make us feel comfortable, relaxed and welcome - we originally booked for one night, but decided to stay for two as we liked it so much. Tufan, the Manager, also has a family run carpet shop, on the premises, with some exceptional locally woven carpets and kilim for sale at very reasonable prices. The Hotel is very close to Hieropolis, which was the main reason for our visit to Pamukkale. The home-cooked food in their restaurant was also excellent. We were so delighted we stayed in this small Hotel, instead of one of the large tourist establishments, in the nearby town, as we certainly received a 5 star service. We would highly recommend this hotel, and would have enjoyed their lovely swimming pool if the weather had been warmer. We hope to stay there again in the summer on a return visit to Turkey.

The location of the hotel is wonderful and dreamy. The staff of the hotel goes out of the way to help you and make you feel comfortable. I feel one should stay couple of nights to relax and enjoy the place and the hotel location. Unfortunately we could spend around 16 hrs only.

This hotel was exceptionally clean and well kept. The staff was very helpful and friendly, particularly the owner who went out of his way to help us and even gave us a ride up to the top of the ruins so we could walk down back to the hotel.

It is close to Pammukale and Heiropolis.

Not all rooms have views of the travertines despite what guidebooks say. The same rate is charged for rooms with a view and a balcony as those without. The owner tried to charge us in Euros for food when the price had clearly been given in Lira. Make sure to check all charges and question all rates given. The food was terrible for the price but beware - you may be stuck eating here because there are not very many options nearby.

This is small family run hotel, the people are fantastic, very helpful. The food is really nice and a bargain compared with the other restaurants in the area. The gym was not as big as what i hoped so i used that as an excuse to not bother going and relax more :-) The view of the whole of the "white God's mountain" is fantastic.

Owner was very nice. Location right across from Pamakkale which is great. Owner drove us to the top of the mountain -- very nice of him.

Staff was excellent and quite helpful, friendly as well. Location wise it is hard to be more ideal. The views from our room looked right up to the cliffs. Wifi was decent.

The personnel of the hotel is very friendly. The owner met us with a cup of tea and took us in his own car to the entrance of the Pamukkale site. The view from the balcony is amazing! We went in March (low season), therefore the pool didn't work and it would be too cold to swim. We would like to thank everybody for their warm hospitality!

Great location, just 5 min from Pamukkale travertino pool. The owner is very friendly and available to give helpful advice. Rooms are good, with a great view on the pool on the front and very quiet on the backcourt.
